Payment Terms
Payment Terms & Conditions and Transaction Security
Welcome to etgroup.ae. Set out below are the official rules and conditions governing payment for orders placed on our portal. By placing and confirming an order, you accept these terms in full.
1. Transaction currency and tax (VAT)
- All prices on etgroup.ae are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED).
- All prices include VAT at 5%, unless stated otherwise on the Tax Invoice. VAT is shown as a separate line on the final total at checkout.
- All online transactions are processed exclusively in AED. If you pay with a card issued by a foreign bank, the final amount charged may differ due to the exchange rate applied by your issuing bank.
- Corporate (B2B) customers paying by bank transfer must provide a TRN (Tax Registration Number).
2. Payment methods
- Credit and debit cards: we accept Visa and MasterCard.
- Bank wire transfer: available to both individuals and companies. Production or dispatch begins only once 100% of the funds (or the agreed deposit) have actually been credited to our bank account.
- Cash / Card on Delivery (COD): payment in cash or by card to the courier is available only for in-stock items up to 5,000 AED and for deliveries within Dubai and Sharjah. It is not available outside these areas or for made-to-order items.
- Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL): pay in instalments through our partners Tabby / Tamara. If you choose this method, the instalment obligations, payment schedule and any late-payment fees are governed solely by the terms and offer agreement of the relevant provider (Tabby or Tamara).
3. Payment for made-to-order items
- For bespoke orders (doors, sliding partitions and furniture made to your dimensions), production starts once the deposit has been paid; the deposit amount is set out in the supply agreement or Proforma Invoice.
- The price and specification of the item are fixed at the moment the order is confirmed and the deposit is paid. The Seller may not unilaterally change the price or the core parameters of an approved order.
4. Compliance and international security requirements
- Trade restrictions: ET GROUP (etgroup.ae) does not do business with, process payments for, or supply goods or services to any country, individual or entity subject to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions or to local UAE sanctions.
- Record keeping: the cardholder is required to retain copies of transaction records, together with copies of the Seller's Payment Terms and Refund Policy.
- Verification: we reserve the right to request a copy of the cardholder's Emirates ID or passport to confirm the legitimacy of a transaction should our payment gateway's anti-fraud systems be triggered.
5. Refund Policy
- In accordance with UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, where a manufacturing fault, hidden defect or discrepancy against the approved specification is identified, the customer has an unconditional right to a replacement or a full refund.
- For online card payments, refunds are issued exclusively to the same card used for the original payment. The time taken for funds to appear depends on the policies of local UAE banks and may take up to 14 working days.
- With the customer's written consent, the refund amount can instead be credited immediately to their account balance in the etgroup.ae personal cabinet and used towards future purchases.
